President Donald Trump is backing a lifelong Minnesotan in the gubernatorial race for the North Star State.

He endorsed his pick on Truth Social Wednesday morning, stating, “Mike Lindell, the ‘Pillow Man,’ and one of America’s greatest and most hard working Patriots, is running to be Governor of Minnesota, replacing one of the worst and most incompetent governors in the history of the U.S.A. Early Primary Voting has begun and, if given the chance, Mike will be Spectacular!”

President Trump praised Lindell’s love for the state of Minnesota and America, adding, “He will Make Minnesota Great Again! Mike Lindell has my complete and total endorsement – He will not let you down. Good Luck Mike!”

In 2016, the Salvation Army wrote that Lindell became known as the successful business owner of My Pillow, who went from struggling with addiction to living the American Dream and sharing his success story to help others. America First supporters came to know him for his outspoken support of secure election processes, medical choice, and Christian values throughout 2020.

Lindell is now running on an America First platform in his race to become Minnesota Governor. According to his campaign website, he plans to support small businesses and Minnesota manufacturing, aid local farmers in their practices, and expand American energy capabilities. He is also campaigning to resecure American elections, protect medical choice, uphold immigration law, and cut the state’s waste, fraud, and abuse to reduce taxes.

His pro-life, pro-family, and pro-America platform has pushed him to the top of the Republican primary race. Lindell celebrated reports that he is leading in the Minnesota Gubernatorial race on X and that the margin is expected to widen by 15.9 points with President Trump’s endorsement. The Republican primary takes place on Tuesday, August 11, and early voting is currently open.
