President Donald Trump added his endorsement to the GOP’s Senate plan for what he referred to as “one, big, beautiful bill” on Monday.

The president posted his support to Truth Social as Republicans in Congress seek to advance his America First agenda.

“The Budget Plan just passed by the United States Senate has my Complete and Total Endorsement and Support. All of the elements we need to secure the Border, enact Historic Spending Cuts, and make Tax Cuts PERMANENT, and much more, are strongly covered and represented in the Bill,” Trump wrote.

“Thank you to Senate Majority Leader John Thune, and House Speaker Mike Johnson for their hard work and attention to detail. There is no better time than now to get this Deal DONE! The House, the Senate, and our Great Administration, are going to work tirelessly on creating “THE ONE, BIG, BEAUTIFUL BILL,” an appropriate name if Congress so likes,” he continued.

Trump also expressed urgency to “quickly” pass his endorsed budget plan as he seeks to improve trade following the announcement of recent tariffs.

“Everyone is going to be happy with the result. Passage will make, even the subject of World Trade, far easier and better for the U.S.A. THE HOUSE MUST PASS THIS BUDGET RESOLUTION, AND QUICKLY — MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he concluded.

House Speaker Mike Johnson is expected to bring the Senate’s budget resolution to a vote as early as Wednesday. GOP leaders are aiming to pass the measure before the upcoming Passover and Easter recess.

However, it’s uncertain whether Johnson can secure enough support, as his party holds only a narrow seven-seat majority in the House, and some Republican members have already voiced opposition to the plan.

“This is offensive, and so I’m a hard no on this junk,” Rep. Andy Ogles, R-Tenn., said about the Senate’s budget resolution. “Look, $1.5 trillion? That was a serious offer from the House of Representatives. A $3 to $4 billion cut is offensive to the American people. It’s a joke. It should not have been presented.”

Other GOP House members, including Texas Rep. Chip Roy, have also expressed opposition as Republicans push to unite party members to advance the resolution.
