President Donald Trump formally endorsed Rep. Harriet Hagemen for the 2026 Wyoming U.S. Senate election, saying that the congresswoman will continue to deliver in the upper chamber just like she has done in the House.

“Highly Respected Congresswoman, Harriet Hageman, is running for the United States Senate in the Great State of Wyoming, a place I love and WON BIG in 2016, 2020, and 2024!” President Trump wrote Saturday in a post to Truth Social.

He continued, “I know Harriet well, and she is a TOTAL WINNER! Harriet has ALWAYS delivered for Wyoming, and will continue to do so in the United States Senate. She will fight tirelessly to Grow our Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Advance American Energy DOMINANCE, Champion our Amazing Farmers and Ranchers, Keep our Border SECURE, Stop Migrant Crime, Support our Incredible Military/Veterans, and Defend our always under siege Second Amendment.”

Hageman previously announced her Senate candidacy on Tuesday, seeking to succeed retiring incumbent Sen. Cynthia Lummis, R-Wyo., in the state’s 2026 election.

Serving two terms in the House, Hageman has been a staunch supporter of President Trump. With his backing, she previously ousted then-Rep. Liz Cheney in Wyoming’s 2022 House primary.

In her campaign announcement, Hageman cited her support of the president’s policies, particularly with energy and food production, while highlighting her record of supporting strong borders.

“I worked with President Trump to pass 46 billion in additional funding for border security, while ensuring that Wyomingites do not pay the cost of new immigration,” she said. “We work together to secure the border and fund efforts to remove and deport those in the country illegally.”

With the open seat, the president was not hesitant to throw his support behind Hageman, who has been a strong ally of his since he returned to the White House.

“Harriet Hageman has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be your next Senator,” President Trump concluded. “SHE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!”

Wyoming is a strong Republican state, with President Trump having won it by over 46 points in 2024. Hageman similarly won her House race by nearly 48 points.

Thus, Hageman is likely to win not just her state’s Republican primary, but Wyoming’s general election too.
