President Donald Trump celebrated the completion of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool renovations by inviting the workers who carried out the plan to the White House.

Every worker was given a signed hat by the 47th President and a presidential challenge coin — a custom-made medallion distributed by the Commander-in-Chief as a symbol of honor.

The renovations are part of the president’s effort to clean up Washington, D.C., to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. RSBN reported that in just over a year, 22 fountains have been restored, 28 statues have been cleaned, and over 500 areas have been cleared of graffiti.

Just last week, the Associated Press confirmed that the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool renovations were nearly completed and the pool was being refilled.

On Tuesday, the White House celebrated the project’s completion in a post on X, stating that the renovations made, “A beautiful day in the nation’s capital.”

Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick posted his own picture of the updates. “I stopped by the new Reflecting Pool. It is simply glorious. There were a thousand people, everywhere, taking pictures and just enjoying its beauty,” he stated. “Thank you President Trump for restoring our city’s national treasure.”
