Since Biden’s withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race, President Trump has posed various questions about the decision, including the Democrat’s usurpation of the democratic norms in the United States.
In a Monday morning Truth Social post, the 45th president wrote, “The Democrats pick a candidate, Crooked Joe Biden, he loses the Debate badly, then panics, and makes mistake after mistake, is told he can’t win, and decide they will pick another candidate, probably Harris. They stole the race from Biden after he won it in the primaries – A First! These people are the real THREAT TO DEMOCRACY!”
In a lengthy post on X, formerly Twitter, House Speaker Mike Johnson also remarked on the “unprecedented” action by the Democrats, writing, “The Democrat Party forced the Democrat nominee off the ballot, just over 100 days before the election.”
Speaker Johnson rightly pointed out the hypocrisy of the party that incessantly justifies its undemocratic actions by insisting they are protecting democracy, writing, “Having invalidated the votes of more than 14 million Americans who selected Joe Biden to the be the Democrat nominee for president, the self-proclaimed ‘party of democracy’ has proven exactly the opposite.”
Speaker Johnson also called on Biden to resign, writing, “If Joe Biden is not fit to run for President, he is not fit to serve as President. He must resign the office immediately. November 5 cannot arrive soon enough.”
As of Monday, Biden is reportedly still self-isolating after testing positive for Covid and has no public events scheduled. He has not been seen publicly in several days.
