President Donald Trump has just landed in Atlanta, Georgia on Thursday, where he will imminently be booked at the Fulton County jail in relation to an indictment that was brought against him last week.
The case, which has charged him with 41 counts centered on phone calls that the president made to Brad Raffensperger in 2020, was brought by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.
As reported by RSBN, Trump posted $200,000 bond, so he will be booked today and then released. The president noted on Truth Social that his “arrest time” would take place at 7:30 p.m. ET.
President Trump’s visit to the courthouse comes just one day after his historic interview with Tucker Carlson on X on Wednesday, which surpassed over 200 million views in less than 24 hours.
On Truth Social, the president heralded his successful interview with Carlson, contrasting that against the legal battle he had to face on Thursday.
He wrote, “231,000,000 Views, and still counting. The Biggest Video on Social Media, EVER, more than double the Super Bowl! But please excuse me, I have to start getting ready to head down to Atlanta, Georgia, where Murder and other Violent Crimes have reached levels never seen before, to get ARRESTED by a Radical Left, Lowlife District Attorney, Fani Willis, for A PERFECT PHONE CALL, and having the audacity to challenge a RIGGED & STOLEN ELECTION. THE EVIDENCE IS IRREFUTABLE! ARREST TIME: 7:30 P.M.”
