Podcast host Joe Rogan recently praised President Trump’s anti-war response to CNN when asked about the Russia-Ukraine war. Rogan thought the response was “perfect.”
In May, President Trump addressed the audience gathered at Saint Anselm College with CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins. Collins had asked President Trump which side he thought would win the war. President Trump did not explicitly say which country he thought would win.
In fact, President Trump told CNN’s Collins, “I don’t think in terms of winning and losing. I think in terms of getting it settled, so we stop killing all these people.”
During his podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Rogan expressed his thoughts on President Trump’s response to Collins. Rogan said, “Dude, it’s perfect.” In his video, Rogan slams CNN for trying to make a “gotcha moment” out of a “subject that literally has the fate of the world in front of it.”
Rogan particularly praised President Trump’s statement in which he explained how he would deal with the current Ukraine and Russia war.
President Trump told Collins, “I want everybody to stop dying. They’re dying. Russians and Ukrainians. I want them to stop dying. And I’ll have that done. I’ll have that done in 24 hours. I’ll have it done. You need the power of the presidency to do it.”
President Trump elaborated on how he would end the war. He said, “I’ll meet with Putin, I’ll meet with Zelensky, they both have strengths, and they both have weaknesses and in 24 hours it will be done.”
CNN’s Collins had pressed President Trump for an answer on what side he favors, to which he responded by saying, “I’ll say this: I want Europe to put up more money.”
President Trump also mentioned his concern for U.S. security. He explained, “We’re giving away so much equipment, we don’t have ammunition for ourselves right now.”
