President Donald Trump received a warm welcome in Pittsburg on Sunday night as he joined fans for NFL Sunday Night Football’s game between the Steelers and New York Jets.

The audience cheered wildly when Trump was acknowledged to the crowd, with those in attendance breaking out in chants of, “USA! USA! USA!”

A video of the moment was shared in a post on X by Trump’s Deputy Director of Communications, Margo Martin.

Trump’s visit also included heightened security, including notifications to fans to arrive earlier than usual.

“With former President Trump expected to attend Sunday night’s game as a guest of an individual suite holder, we are working with Secret Service and local authorities to ensure the safety and security of all our fans,” a team statement said. “As always, we will work to make the fan experience the same as it always is for every Steelers home game at Acrisure Stadium.

“We encourage fans to arrive early to the parking lots and to the gates so that they can enjoy our pregame experience and our celebrations throughout the game that will honor the 50th anniversary of our Super Bowl IX team,” it continued.

The appearance came at the conclusion of a busy weekend of campaigning in Pennsylvania. Trump also appeared at a Latrobe rally where former Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown spoke briefly and included his endorsement.

Brown posted the RSBN video of his speech to X, stating, “History will remember this moment. Everyone coming together as one.”

The response to Trump’s visit resembled his attendance at the match-up between the Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama’s Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on Sept. 28. As RSBN previously reported, Trump was also greeted with enthusiasm and “USA!” chants.

Trump also included a stop at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s over the weekend. He worked the fry cooker and spoke to media through the drive-thru window on Sunday afternoon.

The appearance was intended to highlight Vice President Kamala Harris’ false claims that she worked at the restaurant as a teenager.

Trump said he was having “a lot of fun” as he took questions from the media. “I’ve now worked for fifteen minutes more than Kamala,” said Trump.
