President Trump sees the best foreign-policy numbers of his second term

Currently, President Trump has the highest foreign policy job approval rating of any 21st-century president.

According to Breitbart, President Trump’s job approval rating for his foreign policy has climbed above that of previous presidents. Currently, the poll reveals that President Trump has a 42.3 percent approval rating. The poll shows that President Trump has consistently scored over 40 percent approval over the past few months, better than Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama did in their second terms. Breitbart reported that Biden’s foreign policy rating was 37 percent, and Bush was a dismal 35 percent.

What really pushed his approval rating up was his handling of the Israel-Hamas War. On October 4, President Trump announced the war in Gaza was over as his envoys had managed to broker a deal with Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey. President Trump had arranged a two-phase deal that saw a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas, the release of Israeli hostages, as well as the entry of aid into Gaza. It was these actions that pushed President Trump’s approval ratings to the highest of any modern president. On the same issue, Joe Biden’s rating was -37 points!

His other policies were guided by an “America First” ideology, which has earned him praise, particularly his withdrawal from the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC), strong approach to China, Russia, and Iran, as well as his tariffs.

Despite ongoing criticism from the left, President Trump’s tariffs haven’t been driving inflation. In fact, according to The Hill, some goods affected by the tariffs have actually become even more affordable. Prices of new vehicles, which are largely affected by the tariffs, have remained flat, and even clothing, which is imported from countries with high tariffs, has remained flat.

On top of all this, President Trump’s historic trade deals also have a great deal to do with his approval ratings. So far, he has made breakthrough trade deals with El Salvador, Argentina, Ecuador, Guatemala, Singapore, Cambodia and others.

Reflecting on all that President Trump has achieved in foreign policy alone, it’s not surprising that his approval ratings are so high compared to those of previous presidents.
