President Donald J. Trump will be returning to Washington D.C. at the end of July to deliver a keynote address for the America First Policy Institute (AFPI).
According to a press release from AFPI, President Trump will deliver the closing address during their two-day America First Agenda Summit on July 26.
This is the first time that the 45th president will be returning to Washington D.C. since he left the White House in January 2021.
The AFPI revealed that the summit would include featured topics that touch on the America First agenda:
“Some of the featured topics during the America First Agenda Summit will include lowering energy and gasoline prices, combating historic inflation, giving parents more control of their children’s education, fighting crime in our cities, and securing the border. The former president’s speech will close the summit, which will feature nearly a dozen panel discussions and presentations by leaders in Congress, governors, state officials, AFPI experts, and other distinguished guests…”
Also included in the summit is House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, and an array of former Cabinet and White House officials.
Conservative leaders like Dr. Alveda King, former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, and Lou Holtz, Hall of Fame College Football Coach and Chair of the AFPI Center for 1776, are also listed among the stellar lineup of conservative figures who will be attending the event.
President and CEO of AFPI Brooke Rollins stated, “The America First Policy Institute is excited to welcome President Donald Trump back to Washington, D.C. Our team will introduce a policy agenda that will get our country back on the right track. These policies worked before, and they will work again. America’s future is America First!”
