President Trump has announced a significant decision regarding the enforcement of actions by the Biden administration that were carried out via an autopen. In a Truth Social post on Tuesday, Trump declared all such orders and proclamations invalid, including Biden’s pardons and commutations, which were signed before he left office in January.

“Any and all Documents, Proclamations, Executive Orders, Memorandums, or Contracts, signed by Order of the now infamous and unauthorized ‘AUTOPEN,’ within the Administration of Joseph R. Biden Jr., are hereby null, void, and of no further force or effect,” President Trump said. “Anyone receiving ‘Pardons,’ ‘Commutations,’ or any other Legal Document so signed, please be advised that said Document has been fully and completely terminated, and is of no Legal effect. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

President Trump indicated his intentions regarding the autopen documents last week when he posted on Truth Social, stating that autopen-signed actions were terminated. He expressed suspicion that members of the Biden administration were using the autopen to enact policy without Biden’s knowledge or approval. Legal experts have weighed in on the issue, asserting that the use of the autopen is only valid if President Biden had full knowledge of what was being signed.

“The Radical Left Lunatics circling Biden around the beautiful Resolute Desk in the Oval Office took the Presidency away from him,” Trump said. He continued by alleging the people who carried out Biden’s signature via autopen had done so illegally.

The announcement from President Trump has stirred speculation about what could happen if the Biden actions are effectively revoked. In his most recent post, Trump specifically referred to pardons issued by President Biden that would be rendered null and void. Conservative commentators have questioned whether this action could affect high-profile pardons such as those issued to Dr. Anthony Fauci or retired General Mark Milley.

In a post on Truth Social, commentator Nick Sortor cheered on Trump’s announcement and pointed out the pardons could be nullified.

“BREAKING: President Trump just advised anyone who received an unauthorized AUTOPEN pardon or commutation from the Biden White House that this action is now officially ‘NULL AND VOID.’ This INCLUDES people like Fauci and Milley,” Sortor said. “BRING ON THE ARRESTS!”

Trump’s stance on the autopen pardons has also found support among elected Republicans. Congressman Byron Donalds, R-Fla., echoed President Trump’s comments on Tuesday in a post on X.

“FOR YEARS, unelected Deep State bureaucrats ran our country with an autopen while President Biden sat on the sidelines in cognitive decline,” Donalds said. “What happened was unforgivable. INVALIDATE THEM ALL.”
