President Donald Trump is set to visit Florida on Friday, where he will highlight his economic agenda in a region of the Sunshine State known for being a Republican stronghold.
According to a post from the Florida GOP, President Trump will visit The Villages, a sprawling master-planned Central Florida retirement community known for its well-kept grounds, entertainment options, and golf courses.
“Hear how he’s fighting for Floridians on everything from No Tax on Tips to No Tax on Social Security, putting seniors and workers first,” the announcement stated.
Following his visit to The Villages, the president will reportedly attend an event at the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches and deliver a speech at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, according to TCPalm.
“Excited to welcome @realDonaldTrump to the Villages on Friday!” wrote Evan Power, the chair of the Republican Party of Florida, on X.
Power is also running for Congress in 2026.
President Trump’s home base is famously located in West Palm Beach, Florida, at his sprawling estate, Mar-a-Lago, so it is possible that he may stay the weekend in the Sunshine State, as he has often done during this second term.
The event at The Villages is slated to begin at 3:00 pm ET and will be held at The Villages Charter Schools, according to an event page on the White House website.
