President Trump will return to the Silver State later this month to hold a Commit to Caucus rally in Reno, Nevada, the campaign announced on Thursday night.

On Sunday, Dec. 17, President Trump will join supporters at the Reno Sparks Convention Center and will deliver remarks at 5:00 p.m. ET. This will be his first time back in the state since his last campaign event in Las Vegas in late October.

Nevada is a critical “first in the nation” state that will hold its presidential primary early next year on Feb. 6, 2024, just after South Carolina, New Hampshire, and Iowa.

During his most recent campaign event in Nevada, President Trump inspired supporters when he declared, “Together, we’re going to WIN Nevada in a HISTORIC LANDSLIDE.”

Although Democrats carried Nevada by a small percentage in the 2016 and 2020 elections, President Trump is consistently polling ahead of Biden in the Silver State.

The most recent Morning Consult poll taken among registered voters in the first week of November shows Trump three points ahead in a head-to-head matchup against Biden. An Emerson College poll taken among registered voters around the same timeframe showed Trump in an even more favorable position, up seven points over Biden.

Based on these surveys, President Trump appears to be gaining momentum with Nevada voters as he prepares to stump in the Silver State.
