President Ronald Reagan said it best, “Republicans believe every day is the Fourth of July.”
Like Reagan, President Donald Trump has never shied away from his strong patriotism. From embracing and constantly sharing Lee Greenwood’s song “God Bless the USA” to always honoring and respecting America’s military veterans, Trump is an America first president.
Trump views red, white and blue as more than just colors; they represent the essence of his ideology: strong patriotism.
Even with the current and ongoing appointments made in his Cabinet, Trump has restored patriotism at a national level.
The principles of individual liberty and limited government, fundamental to the U.S., are well-known to Republicans. Still, for the rest of America, Trump’s America First Policy will assist outsiders in realizing how vital patriotism is to a young nation built upon freedom.
Trump’s love for the country has always been evident, as has his firm belief in protecting the American flag and standing for the national anthem.
American patriotism has been overtaken by a focus on wokeness and a critical look at the nation’s past. Trump denies both.
Americans have every right to be proud of their nation and its history, and the patriots who fought to ensure democracy not only survived but flourished for generations to come.
During the second Trump administration, conservatives are hoping that the woke culture destroying our school system will come to an end. After all, the American people, from all political parties, had a say in combating this ideology with the election of Trump as the 47th president.
Like Reagan, Trump’s foreign policy involves a large military, and Trump proudly embraces the motto of peace through strength. On a global stage, Trump will demand that the nation receive the proper respect it deserves. Trump’s strong leadership and resilience are seen as a threat by radical nations like Iran, causing them to oppose him.
Patriotism has never died for conservatives, but with the election of Donald Trump, it will return to a global stage where nations across the world will understand quickly that America is not only the greatest country on earth but the land that resembles freedom and prosperity.
Patriotism is an idea, one centered on freedom and justice. Freedom-loving patriots have been building the nation since the American Revolution, and that spirit endures today.
As hard as the socialists try, they cannot seem to rid the nation of patriotism. The election of Donald Trump offers conservatives a victory and a reassuring sign that being a proud American is still a distinct and respected identity.
May God Bless the USA.
