President Donald Trump hit the campaign trail hard on Tuesday night in New Hampshire, less than 24 hours after winning the Iowa caucuses. He invited former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy onstage, shortly after the businessman endorsed his 2024 campaign last night after dropping out of the primary race.
Trump called for unity in the Republican Party before inviting Ramaswamy to the stage, describing him as a “true leader” who has “a big, beautiful, bright future ahead.”
Ramaswamy energetically took the podium in Atkinson, speaking to a room full of fired up MAGA supporters, stating, “Patriots across this state, we are in the middle of a WAR. That’s what this is.”
He continued, “We need a Commander-in-Chief who will lead us to victory in this war.”
Ramaswamy described the war in this country as one that is raging between “those who love the United States of America and a fringe minority who HATES this country and what we stand for.”
He asked New Hampshire voters to vote for Donald Trump for president, warning that there “won’t be a country left” if Republicans didn’t win the White House in 2024.
“We believe those ideals still exist, this man is going to be your next president to revive them,” he stated, speaking to the ideals of the Founding Fathers.
“This is a 1776 moment RIGHT NOW,” Ramaswamy declared.
The crowd was receptive to Ramaswamy and cheered him on, indicating what appeared to be big support for his alliance with President Donald Trump.
“We stand up for the truth, that is what won us the American Revolution, that is what united us after the Civil War…that is what still gives hope to the free world,” Ramaswamy pledged.
Chants of “VP” broke out at the conclusion of Ramaswamy’s speech.
