During an appearance on “Fox and Friends First” on Thursday, Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., took a shot at Joe Biden’s remarks about the “MAGA crowd.”
Byron stated, “I thought Joe Biden wanted to stand for unity – he’s never stood for that. He’s been one of the most divisive presidents we’ve ever had.”
The congressman’s comments were addressing previous remarks Biden made on Wednesday during a speech in the Roosevelt Room, in which Biden referred to the supporters of the America First agenda as “extreme” and “Ultra-MAGA.”
Biden continued, “Let me tell you about this Ultra-MAGA Agenda. It’s extreme, as most MAGA things are.” He took another stab at Trump supporters in Congress, saying, “I don’t want to hear Republicans talk about deficits and their Ultra-MAGA Agenda. I want to hear about fairness. I want to hear about decency.”
Rep. Donalds held nothing back when addressing Biden’s remarks. “When you do this to Americans when you try to divide them because of who they support to be president of the United States in the future or who they’ve supported in the past – that is outrageous,” he said.
Rep. Donalds was endorsed by President Donald Trump in December 2021.
“Congressman Byron Donalds has been a terrific advocate for the people of Florida and our Country,” Trump stated. “He is doing a great job…He is a supporter of our America First policies and knows the importance of our Great Vets and values our important Military men and women.”
Biden’s comments come on the heels of a discussion he had regarding economic growth, jobs, and deficit reduction.
Previously, Rep. Donalds slammed Biden on the struggling economy as well in a post on Twitter: “This is the direct result of @JoeBiden and the Democrats far-left disastrous policies.”
