Report: 43,000 Georgia ballots violated election law in 2020, which is nearly 400% of Biden’s victory margin

Over 43,000 absentee ballots in DeKalb County, Georgia were counted in the certified results of the 2020 presidential election, despite being illegally cast, according to the Georgia State Election Board. The election board reported that these ballots violated the chain of custody requirements.

That law stipulates that absentee ballots placed in drop boxes “shall be immediately transported to the county registrar.” A two-person collection team is then required to sign a ballot transfer form, indicating the number of ballots picked up, the time they were picked up, and the location of the drop box.

“The county registrar or a designee thereof shall sign the ballot transfer form upon receipt of the ballots from the collection team,” the law states.

According to the report from the Georgia State Election Board, it is possible that both senate races were incorrectly called, which would affect which party is in control of the legislative branch.

Reports from the Georgia State Election Board indicate that the winners of the 2020 Georgia presidential and senatorial elections may have been incorrectly called if their findings prove to be substantiated.

A reported 61,731 absentee ballots were cast in DeKalb County during the November 2020 presidential election. 46 percent of these absentee ballots were allegedly not documented as being collected by the elections registrar or the director’s designee until the day after they were collected from the drop box.

15,713 absentee ballots supposedly had no receipt time recorded at all by the elections office.

14,925 absentee ballots collected from drop boxes were possibly received by elections officials more than an hour after being collected by a two-person collection team, but on the same calendar day.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger certified Joe Biden as the winner of Georgia’s 16 electoral votes over Donald Trump. Biden was certified the winner with nearly 12,000 more votes than Trump.

The number of ballots that were allegedly incorrectly tallied is nearly four times that of Joe Biden’s margin of victory in Georgia.

Cobb County and Fulton County Georgia have alleged similar findings as DeKalb County.

The Georgia State Election Board reported that Fulton County did not provide the chain of custody documents for 18,901 absentee ballots and an election official reported that the records were missing. The board added that Cobb county reported that over 2,000 ballots were gradually transferred over a span of three days after they were supposed to arrive.

Despite the alleged evidence of mishandling of ballots and chain of custody violations in Georgia, Raffensperger and Gov. Brian Kemp certified Biden as the winner of Georgia’s presidential election on Nov. 20, 2020.
