Former Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich., is narrowly leading the top Democrat opponents in Michigan’s 2026 Senate race.

The poll, conducted by MIRS/Mitchell Research with 600 Likely Voters, found that Rogers narrowly led his Democrat challengers, Haley Stevens, state Sen. Mallory McMorrow, and physician Abdul El-Sayed.

Rogers led McMorrow with 43 percent to 41 percent, and El-Sayed with 42 percent to 41 percent.

Rogers fared best against Stevens, leading with 42 percent to 39 percent.

In all three head-to-head matchups, between 17 and 19 percent of respondents were undecided.

The four candidates are running to succeed retiring two-term Democrat Sen. Gary Peters, who announced earlier this year that he would not seek reelection, the Hill reported.

Early voting in the Michigan primary runs from July 25 through Aug. 2, with the last day to cast a ballot on Aug. 4.

While Rogers currently leads his Democratic challengers, the race will nonetheless be one to watch as Election Day nears, as the state would be among the more likely Republican flips in the 2026 Senate cycle.

This election also marks Rogers’ second Senate run, as he previously ran against now-Sen. Elissa Slotkin in 2024, losing by under one percentage point.
