Republicans are rallying around President Trump after he made history by becoming the Republican presumptive nominee for the third time consecutively.
RSBN reported President Trump brought home a massive victory for the party on Tuesday by securing the needed 1,215 delegates to become the presupmtive nominee.
On Truth Social, President Trump celebrated, stating, “It is my great honor to be representing the Republican Party as its Presidential Nominee.”
He added, “ Our Party is UNITED and STRONG, and fully understands that we are running against the Worst, Most Incompetent, Corrupt, and Destructive President in the History of the United States.”
Republicans have taken to social media to rally behind President Trump.
Republican U.S. Senate candidate Kari Lake wrote on X, “President Trump now officially has the delegates required to be the @GOP nominee. I can’t wait to see these two back in the White House. Our future is VERY bright, America!”
Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., also showed support for President Trump on X, writing, “BREAKING: Donald Trump has officially eclipsed the delegate threshold to become the 2024 Republican nominee for president.” He added, “Joe Biden & radical Democrats are destroying America. November is coming & it is time for ALL AMERICANS to unite. Together we will Make America Great Again!”
Newly-elected Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Whatley took to X to congratulate President Trump on his achievement.
He wrote, “Congratulations to Donald J. Trump for securing the delegates necessary to be the presumptive Republican Nominee for President.”
Whatley also referred to the GOP nominee convention in July, saying, “I am looking forward to the @GOPConvention where we will formally nominate him to be the 47th President of the United States!”
