The newly formed coalition between President Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is making waves among undecided voters, with the focus on Making America Healthy Again (MAHA) attracting the previously unlikeliest of women to vote for the 45th president.
In a post on X, Kennedy wrote, “Moms haven’t drifted right, so much as the so-called ‘left’ has abandoned them. Back in the day, the left sought to protect consumers from corporate poisoning of the food supply. The left was the champion of the people. Today it is in lockstep with corporate medicine, corporate food, corporate everything.”
His response was in reference to an article published by Mother Jones about the shift, with the outlet focusing on Moms Across America executive director Zen Honeycutt. She has worked alongside Kennedy for many years and has hordes of Independent and left-leaning followers who are concerned about their health and their children’s health.
In recent years, Republicans and more Independents have also begun following Honeycutt’s work. She frequently advises Kennedy on topics, such as her opposition to childhood antidepressants and calling attention to the unhealthy foods children are fed in public schools.
Honeycutt has high hopes for a Kennedy cabinet position in a second Trump administration. She recently said it would be “A dream come true,” for parents and people she knows “who just care about their health.”
In a recent post on X, Kennedy shared a video of the iconic handshake between him and Trump on the rally stage in Arizona and wrote, “Yes, we’re joining forces to defeat government corruption, restore free speech, and Make America Healthy Again. #MAHA”
On Friday, Kennedy posted a new video explaining what he and Trump have planned to end chronic illness in the United States. The clip showed photos of Americans in the past before the government began allowing harmful chemicals to be added to many foods and drinks.
“Enough of blaming and shaming the victims of a corrupt system. Instead, we are going to change the system that keeps so many of us sick. That’s what I mean by Make America Healthy Again. #MAHA,” Kennedy wrote.
He and former Democrat Tulsi Gabbard will headline Team Trump’s Reclaim America Tour in Glendale, Arizona, on Saturday to discuss how Trump’s new administration “will end the forever wars, get corruption out of government agencies, protect our civil liberties, and create a unity government.”
