President Trump has boldly predicted the demise of the Michigan auto industry if Joe Biden gets his way and implements “all Electric Cars” in the United States.
On Truth Social, the president explained, “The Great State of Michigan will not have an auto industry anymore if Crooked Joe Biden’s crazed concept of ‘all Electric Cars’ goes into effect.”
He warned that “CHINA WILL TAKE IT ALL” and urged the United Auto Workers union to “VOTE FOR TRUMP” amid indications that the UAW is poised to stage a massive autoworker strike.
“Get your leaders to ENDORSE ME, I WILL KEEP ALL OF THESE GREAT JOBS, AND BRING IN MANY MORE. CHOICE IN SCHOOLS, AND CHOICE IN CARS!!!” he vowed.
He also urged Shawn Fain, the president of the UAW, not to allow “ALL ELECTRIC CARS” because they would be made in China. The president stated that if this happened, the “Auto Industry in America will cease to exist!”
“Vote for TRUMP, and I will stop this Madness, IMMEDIATELY!” he said.
The Biden administration has strongly pushed for “decarbonization” as part of its environmental platform, which has heavily promoted an acceleration of EV transition programs in the United States, according to Reuters.
Trump has been a longtime critic of the quality and usability of electric cars, and he recently vowed to save the American auto industry as a part of his Agenda47 policy platform.
In July, he expounded, “Joe Biden is waging war on the U.S. auto industry with a series of crippling mandates designed to force Americans into expensive electric cars…even as thousands of electric cars are piling up on car lots all unsold. This ridiculous Green New Deal crusade is causing car prices to skyrocket while setting the stage for the destruction of American auto production.”
The president insisted this week that Mexico and Canada will “LOVE Biden’s idiotic policy” of pushing electric vehicles.
“SAVE THE AMERICAN CONSUMER!” he declared.
