The White House this year came under investigation after drugs like cocaine and marijuana were found in the building in July. Now, the Secret Service has announced that they will be closing the investigation without a suspect.

On July 2, cocaine was found in the West Wing of the White House, hidden in a small storage area. At the time of the start of the investigation, lawmakers and investigators were warned that they probably wouldn’t be able to find the owner of the drugs, and now this looks like it may be the case.

Republican Rep. Nancy Mace, who is a member of the House Oversight Committee, announced that the investigation was closing. Just The News reported what Mace said: “The cocaine caper is going to be concluded without any outcome. No suspects, no resolution,”

Mace explained her feelings about the closure of the case. She said, “Which is frustrating, because every time there’s something unsavory happening on the president, the White House’s administration, we never get an answer. And it’s just ironic and interesting and frustrating.”

When the drugs were found, the first suspect in the eyes of many was Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, who has a public history of drug abuse.

President Trump had his own suspicions about who the cocaine belonged to and voiced his opinions. He wrote on Truth Social, “Does anybody really believe that the COCAINE found in the West Wing of the White House, very close to the Oval Office, is for the use of anyone other than Hunter & Joe Biden.”

Trump warned about what he believed would happen with this scandal, “But watch, the Fake News Media will soon start saying that the amount found was ‘very small,’ & it wasn’t really COCAINE, but rather common ground up Aspirin, & the story will vanish.”

Now, weeks later, President Trump’s warning has come true with the closing of the investigation into whose drugs were found in the White House. GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert expressed her disappointment about the decision.

Just The News reported that Boebert said, “So everything they do is to move along to the next story. They know there will be another Biden crime crisis.”
