President Donald Trump harshly condemned chilling rhetoric from Democrats in Congress who have bluntly suggested that military members should ambiguously disobey direct orders, and therefore tread in “seditious” territory, according to the president.

“It’s called SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL,” the president wrote on Truth Social.

He added, “Each one of these traitors to our Country should be ARRESTED AND PUT ON TRIAL. Their words cannot be allowed to stand – We won’t have a Country anymore!!! An example MUST BE SET.”

President Trump’s blistering comments came after a video statement from Democrats was posted online, wherein participants shockingly alleged that the president has been dispensing unconstitutional orders – although these Democratic lawmakers failed to specify what orders were problematic.

These lawmakers further suggested that the Trump administration was pitting the U.S. military and intelligence community directly against American citizens – a hefty accusation.

“You can defy illegal orders,” Democrat Sen. Mark Kelly (Ariz) said in the video.

Other phrases that surfaced in the video included, “You MUST refuse illegal orders,” and “No one has to carry out orders that violate the law.”

Democrats in the video included Sen. Ellisa Slotkin (Mi.), as well as representatives like Chris Deluzio (Pa.) and Maggie Goodlander (N.H.).

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth commented on the video on X, writing, “Stage 4 TDS [Trump Derangement Syndrome].”

President Donald Trump, however, held nothing back in his response to the Democrats’ murky video.

The president remarked in an online comment, “This is really bad, and Dangerous to our Country. Their words cannot be allowed to stand. SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR FROM TRAITORS!!! LOCK THEM UP??? President DJT[.]”

Seditious behavior, to be clear, is defined as directly inciting or facilitating a revolt or violence against lawful governing authorities, and it is a very serious crime. It is not the same as treason, which is the act of actively making war against the U.S. or giving aid to America’s enemies.

In a further pointed comment, the president wrote, “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!”
