Four suspects have been arrested for alleged election fraud in Connecticut. Fox News host Jesse Watters reported that among the suspects is “Wanda ‘The Stuffer.’”

He stated, “The Democrat operative who was caught on camera allegedly stuffing ballots in Bridgeport, Connecticut last year, was charged with unlawfully possessing another person’s ballot and witness tampering.”

He reported that this went beyond known 2023 allegations, stemming further back to 2019.

“Wanda was arrested for ballot fraud in the city’s 2019 Democrat Primary for the same candidate she helped elect in 2023, Mayor Joe Ganim,” said Watters.

Ganim himself has a concerning history. According to the CT Post, he was convicted of taking bribes while serving as the city’s mayor in the 90s.

In 2003, he was found guilty of 16 felony counts of racketeering, bribery, and mail fraud. He was sentenced to nine years in prison and released after seven.

Now, once again serving after being reelected under questionable circumstances, this case is revealing concerning issues within the area’s election process.

According to the Connecticut State Department of Criminal Justice press release, one of the other suspects is Bridgeport City Councilman, Alfredo Castillo, D-136th District.

The chief state’s attorney, Patrick J. Griffin, stated, “Integrity of our voting process is vital to our democracy.”

“I hope these prosecutions will send a message that deters tampering with election results in the future in Connecticut,” he added.

However, this case demonstrates that ongoing election integrity concerns persist on the local, state, and national levels. They have become so prevalent that the Heritage Foundation has a voter fraud map located on its website where users can check each state for voter fraud cases and also report known cases as well.
