Editor-in-chief of Forbes magazine, Steve Forbes, pointed out the pain that Joe Biden’s inflation-riddled America has brought taxpaying citizens in a new interview with Fox Business Network.

Per The Epoch Times, Forbes predicted a “hard winter and the Europeans are going to have it even worse.”

Forbes’ remarks came on the heels of Joe Biden’s tepid and discouraging comments during an interview on CBS’s “60 Minutes.” Biden dodged the question of solving the 8.3 percent annual inflation rate, responding, “Well, first of all, let’s put this in perspective: inflation rate month-to-month is up just an inch – hardly at all.” He also admitted that the current inflation rate was not “good news.”

Forbes slammed Biden’s economic policies on Fox, attacking the Federal Reserve. “The Federal Reserve, for example,” he stated, “believes that the only way it can conquer inflation is by making people poorer.”

He also pointed out that the federal government was “raising taxes instead of cutting taxes, hurting the production of oil and gas – at a time when Europe is going to be desperately in need of it this winter and going into the future.”

Forbes’ comments were timely, given the state of the economy. In late July, the U.S. entered into a technical recession after enduing two subsequent quarters of economic growth, per RSBN. The contracted economy, rising prices, and supply chain issues have drawn the ire of many registered voters, and that has begun to reflect in recent polling.

A September poll from Reuters/IPSOS found that Biden’s approval rating was looking bleak. Among 1,003 respondents, including 460 Democrats and 360 Republicans, 54 percent of Americans disapprove of Biden’s job performance.

The same poll also found that 86 percent of Republicans surveyed disapproved of Biden, while only 39 percent of Americans, in general, approved of Biden.
