Teacher ARRESTED after injecting teen with Covid vaccine

A New York teacher from Long Island has been arrested this week after allegedly injecting a teenager with a Covid-19 vaccine without parental consent.

Laura Parker Russo, a science teacher from Herricks High School, was arrested on New Year’s Eve after police were informed that she administered a Covid vaccine on her son’s friend inside her home.

According to the Nassau County Police Department’s press release, the 17-year-old boy informed his mother of what happened when he went home. The mother did not give her consent to have her son vaccinated and called the police.

The police conducted an investigation which revealed that Russo is not medical personnel or authorized to administer vaccines. Russo was then placed under arrest but was later released and set to appear in court on Jan. 21.

Russo was further removed from the classroom and reassigned pending the outcome of the investigation.

“The individual in question is a district employee who has been removed from the classroom and reassigned pending the outcome of the investigation,” Herricks Public Schools Superintendent Fino Celano told Fox News Digital Monday. “he alleged incident is non-school related. As this is a matter of personnel, the district has no further comment.”

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine was reportedly the vaccine Russo administered. However, information about how Russo obtained a vial of the vaccine has not been revealed.
