Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, delivered electric remarks on Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Dallas, Texas, lambasting the “power-hungry, abusive, totalitarian nimwits” of the radical left.
He told the crowd that there was nothing more dangerous to the radical left than “a free and empowered and energized American people taking our country back.”
CPAC’s Friday schedule featured a slate of conservative stars, but Cruz’s no-holds-barred speech brought the crowd to their feet several times. “My pronouns are kiss my ass!” Cruz quipped, poking fun at the progressive gender ideology that has resulted in transgender athletes participating in women’s sports.
He further attacked the entire Biden administration, stating, “The weakness and surrender that comes from these cheese-eating surrender monkeys is making the entire world unsafe.”
Cruz tempered his sharp remarks with a hefty dose of inspiration, telling the audience that “Revival is coming!” The senator added that although the poor ideas from Joe Biden and Kamala Harris grieve him, he “celebrates because it’s opening people’s eyes and it has accelerated people coming back.”
Cruz further teased a massive Republican comeback in 2022. “[It will be] not just a red wave but a tsunami sweeping this country!” he declared.
He continued, “I am spending almost every waking moment campaigning for candidates for the Senate, candidates for the House, ’cause we’re going to RETAKE OUR COUNTRY.”
Cruz said he travels to help elect “real conservatives with backbone and principle.”
In a final comment that got the crowd roaring with applause, he said, “I’m looking forward [to] in January in next year…I’m gonna bump into a little man carrying a screwdriver, coming to change the sign on Nancy Pelosi’s door.”
“We are on the cusp of something extraordinary in this country,” he concluded. “…Together, we are going to restore that shining city on a hill that is the United States of America.”
