The legacy media is turning on Biden

Both the American people and the media are exhausted by Biden’s shenanigans and lies in his “pre-written” or “scripted” interviews. The legacy mainstream media’s role in backing Biden cannot be overstated since the start of his administration.

Traditionally, the mainstream media has held a vital role in shaping public opinions and the narrative leaning left towards Biden’s policies while ostracizing President Trump.

However, following recent events with Biden’s underwhelming debate performance, Biden jumbling his words at various speaking engagements, and particularly his scrutinized interview with George Stephanopoulos on June 5, shows the notable shift in the legacy media’s attitude toward Biden.

After Biden’s interview with George Stephanopoulos, media outlets are now pointing out Biden’s struggles to articulate his points clearly, moments of confusion, and lack of stamina to continue his duty as president and run for a second term.

One example is the New York Times stating:

“The president’s soft voice, extended pauses and slurred words — once viewed by supporters as an unsettling, if benign, fact of his public appearances — had taken on far darker implications.”

Many reporters are now highlighting concerns about Biden’s age and mental abilities, which have been kept behind the scenes and away from the public eye until now.

Biden’s interview with MSNBC with Morning Joe

Biden spoke with MSNBC on the phone on July 8. His responses were angry, and he seemed disconnected from the questions asked.

He drew sharp criticism for his lack of poise in responding to pre-written scripts and for acting evasive when asked questions.

MSNBC admitted Biden’s approval ratings are getting worse, with President Trump surging in key battleground states. Biden responded to his ongoing downward spiral of his approval rating, saying: “The American public is not going to move away from me.”

The legacy media’s reactions to Biden’s recent interviews, events, and press conferences all question Biden’s leadership and ability to serve another term. The shift in the legacy media’s tone has been crucial to maintaining a positive image and public perception of Biden, but not anymore as the legacy media vocally feels unsure about Biden’s viability as a candidate, as there is more criticism of his coverage.
