President Trump on Tuesday shared an impactful and powerful message from U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee that serves as an important reminder of the historic events unfolding during this administration.
Amid tensions with Iran and President Trump’s statements that he wishes to bring their quest to obtain a nuclear weapon to a complete end, the nation is ablaze with debate about whether the United States will militarily strike the Middle Eastern country.
As speculation runs rampant, President Trump shared a text message on Truth Social from Huckabee, which offered spiritual encouragement and a reminder of the power of God’s wisdom.
“Mr President, God spared you in Butler, PA to be the most consequential President in a century – maybe ever,” Huckabee wrote. “The decisions on your shoulders I would not want to be made by anyone else.”
He continued, “You have many voices speaking to you Sir, but there is only ONE voice that matters. HIS voice. I am your appointed servant in this land and am available for you but I do not try to get in your presence often because I trust your instincts.”
Huckabee said that “no president has been in a position like yours” since President Harry Truman in 1945, seemingly suggesting that America itself could be on the brink of unleashing a weapon abroad.
The Israeli ambassador said his message was not meant to persuade, but to encourage. “I believe you will hear from heaven and that voice is far more important than mine or ANYONE else’s,” he added.
Huckabee pledged to remain in Israel and ensure that the American flag would “NOT come down” from the U.S. Embassy. “You did not seek this moment. This moment sought YOU! It is my honor to serve you!” he concluded.
On Monday, President Trump urged people in Tehran to evacuate, prompting speculation that the U.S. or perhaps Israeli forces would strike hard and fast in the region, but thus far, it is unclear what the administration plans to do.
However, Trump did address reports circulating online suggesting that his administration had reached out to Iran for peace talks. “This is just more HIGHLY FABRICATED, FAKE NEWS!” he wrote.
