President Trump drew thousands of patriotic Americans to Ottumwa, Iowa this weekend, where he spoke to eager supporters on Sunday about the importance of defending U.S. agriculture and ethanol.

According to Trump Senior Advisor Jason Miller, 2,500 people filled the venue, the Bridge View Center, to hear the president speak.

Trump’s speaking engagement in Iowa capped off a busy weekend of campaign stops, beginning on Friday in Anaheim, California, and Costa Mesa on Saturday.

In Iowa, countless Trump supporters lined up around the block with the hope of catching a glimpse of the president and getting a chance to hear him speak. Inside the venue, seats were packed, and the crowd exuded infectious energy as the president took the stage.

“This is not a campaign, this is a movement,” Trump remarked to the crowd.

He told the audience that in 2024, his prospective win in the general election would be “the greatest political victory in history.”

Trump highlighted his fight to protect Iowa’s ethanol industry and reminded Americans that he gave $28 billion dollars to American farmers that came straight from Chinese tariffs.

“They want to silence me because I will never let them silence you,” he declared, speaking about his political opponents and the weaponized justice system.

During his remarks, President Trump vowed to repeal Joe Biden’s “absolutely insane electric vehicle mandate on day one” and pushed for a return to good, old-fashioned “common sense.”

Trump also touched on foreign policy, pledging to keep the nation from getting involved in World War III amidst the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia.

“I will totally obliterate and finish the job we started out,” he said. “…Before I even arrive at the Oval Office and shortly after I win the presidency I will have the war between Ukraine and Russia settled.”

Trump also advocated for “free and fair elections” and “closed borders.”
