President Trump will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday, just two days after he addresses a joint congressional session at the Capitol to ask for continued support in the country’s efforts to defeat Hamas.

In a Truth Social post, the 45th president wrote that he was “looking forward” to Netanyahu’s visit.

He recounted the successes of his administration, writing, “During my first term, we had Peace and Stability in the Region, even signing the historic Abraham Accords – And we will have it again. Just as I have said in discussions with President Zelensky and other World Leaders in recent weeks, my PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH Agenda will demonstrate to the World that these horrible, deadly Wars, and violent Conflicts must end. Millions are dying, and Kamala Harris is in no way capable of stopping it.”

In a later post, President Trump shared a photo of a letter from Mahmoud Abbas, the President of the State of Palestine. Abbas expressed his concern over the attempted assassination of President Trump and condemned the act. In a handwritten note on the letter, Trump wrote, “MAHMOUD – SO NICE – THANK YOU – EVERYTHING WILL BE GOOD. BEST WISHES”

President Trump captioned his post with, “Looking forward to seeing Bibi Netanyahu on Friday, and even more forward to achieving Peace in the Middle East! DJT”
