President Donald Trump’s adviser Michael Glassner predicted that the president’s signature MAGA rallies may make a comeback during the 2026 midterms.
Glassner shared the comments during an interview on the “Just the News, No Noise” television show on Tuesday.
“I can’t speak for the president, but I would not be surprised to see those coming back later this year and particularly in the midterms in 2026,” Glassner said.
“It’s such a powerful tool that I don’t think we’ve seen the last of the Trump rallies,” Glassner added. “It’s just too much a part of the MAGA movement.”
Glassner also noted that the rallies were an essential part of Trump winning the presidency in the November.
“I am optimistic that the Trump rally will continue as a cultural [and] political phenomenon throughout his presidency,” Glassner stated.
Trump organized numerous events in the closing weeks of the presidential campaign, including a final rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he took the stage after midnight on Election Day to fire up the packed house one last time to wrap up the final campaign rally. With the finish line to the race to 270 electoral votes within reach, Trump drew a massive crowd of thousands of rallygoers for his final get-out-the-vote message, RSBN previously reported.
He concluded his final speech after 2:00 a.m. by saying, “I love you all and the great state of Michigan. God bless the United States of America!”
Trump also held a second rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, after surviving an assassination attempt at the same site. Over 100,000 attendees witnessed the event, including a long list of dignitaries and VIPs such as JD Vance, Elon Musk, then-Pennsylvania GOP Senate nominee Dave McCormick, musician Lee Greenwood, members of the Trump family and many others.
He was also joined by the family members of Corey Comperatore, who was tragically killed during the July 13 Butler rally shooting, and David Dutch, who was wounded in the assassination attempt made against the president.
Trump is also reportedly holding an indoor rally in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 19, one day ahead of his inauguration at the home of the NBA’s Washington Wizards.
