Get ready to rally with President Donald Trump, who is wisely using his time away from court next week with campaign events in Wisconsin and Michigan.
On Wednesday afternoon, Trump’s one weekday off from the New York City trial, he will make a first stop at the Waukesha County Expo Center in Waukesha, Wisconsin. His remarks will begin at 3:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, May 1.
The 45th president will deliver remarks to voters in the Badger State regarding the state of the nation under Joe Biden. The campaign announced that he will “contrast the peace, prosperity, and security of his first term with Joe Biden’s failed presidency.”
After wrapping up his visit to Wisconsin, President Trump will head to Michigan to hold a MAGA rally just a few hours later. The rally will take place at an airport hangar in Freeland, Michigan, and Trump’s remarks will begin at 6:00 p.m. ET on May 1.
Trump’s back-to-back events are in the “blue wall” area, which includes the key swing states of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. Though these battleground states have historically voted Democrat, it is important to note that Trump successfully flipped all three states in 2016. However, they fell back into the Democrats’ hands in the 2020 election. With roughly seven months until the 2024 presidential election, President Trump is polling well amid Biden’s chaos.
