President Donald Trump recently announced weekend plans to visit the Iowa State Fair.
In a statement released Tuesday, the details were revealed, noting that he is set to arrive at 2 p.m. ET on Saturday, Aug. 12.
Iowa has welcomed President Trump many times. Per New York Times, he is leading in the state’s polls and has even declared that he will host a year-long 250th birthday celebration in every state called The Great American State Fair.
He said, “As a nation, we should be preparing for the most spectacular birthday party. We want to make it the best of all time.”
Now he is heading to the Iowa State Fair, which will likely inspire more ideas for his 250th birthday celebration.
President Trump’s popularity in Iowa has not wavered. He won the state in both the 2016 and 2020 elections, according to Politico.
As he prepares to win the 2024 election, he has not forgotten Iowa and continues to support the area’s local culture.
