Trump-endorsed Harriet Hageman is the projected winner of Wyoming’s primary Tuesday night, defeating incumbent Rep. Liz Cheney.
Soon after the polls closed, Decision Desk HQ called the race for Hageman as she held a massive lead over her Republican opponents.
The Post Millennial reports that Hageman was leading with 58.54 percent of the vote when Decision Desk HQ declared Hageman the projected winner. Cheney trailed behind at 38.03 percent.
Hageman was favored to oust “RINO” Cheney and win the race as she surged in the polls ahead of Tuesday’s primary.
Moreover, Hageman managed to smash fundraising records, raising a stunning $1.8 million in donations during the second quarter of 2022 and breaking her previous $1.3 million record.
Hageman was also pleased to receive an endorsement from President Donald Trump last year, saying, “Harriet Hageman adores the Great State of Wyoming, is strong on Crime and Borders, powerfully supports the Second Amendment, loves our Military and our Vets, and will fight for Election Integrity and Energy Independence (which Biden has already given up).”
“Unlike RINO Liz Cheney, Harriet is all in for America First,” he said.
