In a scorching statement Sunday, President Donald Trump took a jab at the Democrats who are continuing their endless investigations into his businesses and private life.
Trump, who has been very active lately on Truth Social, utilizes his new social media platform to communicate directly with the American people. In true Trump fashion, he took advantage of the opportunity Sunday to wish his opponents a happy Mother’s Day while slamming Democrats in the justice system for using their positions to investigate his family rather than fix the glaring issue of skyrocketing crime.
In his statement, Trump wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day to all, including Racist, Vicious, Highly Partisan, Politically Motivated, and Very Unfair Radical Left Democrat Judges, Prosecutors, District Attorneys, and Attorney Generals, who campaign unrelentingly against you without knowing a thing, and endlessly promise to take you down.”
Trump added, “After years of persecution, even the Fake News says there is no case or, at best, it would be very hard to bring.”
Trump also pointed out the failure of these attorneys, judges, and prosecutors to address the current issue of crime. He wrote, “Someday soon they will start fighting RECORD SETTING Violent Crime.”
Trump has repeatedly called out the Democrats for refusing to fix the nation’s heightening crime levels while investing their resources in “witch hunts” against the 45th president.
Recently, he blamed New York Attorney General Letitia James for allowing crime to thrive in New York, saying, “She will continue to drive business out of New York while at the same time keeping crime, death, and destruction in New York.” He also has called her investigation into Trump’s family businesses, “the greatest Witch Hunt in history.”
Crime is an increasingly concerning issue that is only worsening under the Biden administration. In New York City alone, major crimes went up by 34.2 percent in the month of April, according to the New York Post.
