President Donald Trump appears to have cruised to another three crushing victories on Super Tuesday with a clean sweep in Alabama, Tennessee, and Oklahoma‘s GOP primary elections, according to recent projections.
Via data from Decision Desk HQ, Trump is projected to win in all three states, just moments after the polls closed at 8:00 p.m. ET. So far, Alabama is projected to have gone for Trump at 83 percent over Nikki Haley, according to data available at 9:38 p.m. ET. At the same time, Oklahoma went for Trump at 82 percent against Haley’s 15 percent, and in Tennessee, he won a whopping 74 percent against Haley’s 22 percent.
There is no doubt that these three states have strongholds for President Trump in the lead-up to their primaries. Headed into the Super Tuesday contests, Trump held a whopping 75-point lead over GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley in Alabama, per Morning Consult. He was also leading by 63 points in the same poll in Tennessee and by 77 points in Oklahoma, also according to data from Morning Consult.
Before the primary contests kicked off on Tuesday, Trump was further projected to win every single state in the lineup, according to Polymarket’s famous betting forecast. See the forecast here:
Trump’s wins in Alabama, Tennessee, and Oklahoma represent one of many big victories for him on Super Tuesday and further sets a powerful tone for the coming general election in November 2024.
