Trump calls out Bank of America CEO for not working with conservatives

While President Donald Trump was addressing the World Economic Forum on Thursday, he unleashed a fiery statement calling out the Bank of America CEO, Brian Moynihan.

Trump said, “I hope you start opening your bank to conservatives because many conservatives complain that the banks are not allowing them to do business within the bank, and that included a place called Bank of America.”

President Trump’s remarks to Bank of America CEO by stated that it was absolutely “wrong” for private financial institutions to discriminate against conservative beliefs by holding Bank of America accountable.

For example, as a private entity, Bank of America notoriously violated the civil liberties of U.S. citizens using their bank. Bank of America released transaction records of conservatives to the FBI, who purchased a firearm between January 5 and January 7, 2021. The House Judiciary Committee investigated this matter in 2023 and concluded, a private entity cannot turn their backs against Americans by data mining gun purchases with a list of “targeted transactions in Washington, D.C. and the surrounding area”.

Moynihan stared blankly, while Trump put the pressure on him directly as the 47th president stood up for the American people.
