A new memo from the Trump campaign argues Biden was “fired” after his poor debate performance, allowing President Donald Trump to defeat two Democrats in one election.

The “State of Play Day 1” statement was released by advisers Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles on Monday.

“After being thoroughly decimated by President Trump three weeks ago at the debate in Atlanta, Joe Biden was fired. He was fired by Donald Trump. He has now been turned out to pasture, yet the Biden record of Weakness and Failure still stands,” they wrote.

“Just as Donald Trump fired Joe Biden, he will demonstrate to the world he can fire Dangerously liberal Kamala as well,” the memo continued. “It’s a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to defeat not just one Democrat nominee for president, but two — in the same year!”

The memo also highlighted Trump’s strong poll lead as Harris officially enters the campaign as an alternative candidate.

“The latest HarrisX/Forbes poll shows President Trump with a 9 point lead over Kamala,” LaCivita and Wiles observed.

“Democrat polling released just today, has President Trump over 50 and leading by 6 in Pennsylvania, over 50 and leading by 8 in Arizona, up 2 in Michigan and up 1 in Wisconsin,” they continued.

The remarks come as Harris holds her first campaign rally Tuesday in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, shortly after the city hosted the Republican National Convention where Trump was nominated.

Harris has reportedly secured enough delegates to secure her party’s presidential nomination as of Monday. However, the Democratic National Convention will determine the official nomination next month in Chicago.

“This election will present a clear choice between two different visions. Donald Trump wants to take our country back to a time before many of us had full freedoms and equal rights,” Harris said in a statement responding to the Associated Press on her delegate tally.

“I believe in a future that strengthens our democracy, protects reproductive freedom and ensures every person has the opportunity to not just get by, but to get ahead,” she added.
