President Donald Trump’s campaign announced the launch of the “Rural Americans for Trump” coalition on Thursday to better represent the interests of families in the nation’s heartland.

Rural Americans for Trump Coalition National Chairman Charles Herbster expressed his support in a news release shared by the Trump campaign website.

“President Trump has done more for rural Americans than any President and will continue to deliver for the people of this country, once we work together to ensure him a win back to the White House,” said Herbster, a fifth-generation farmer.

“President Trump understands the critical role the United States’ rural and agricultural community plays in feeding not only its citizens, but the world. President Trump knows how important rural Americans are to powering the U.S. economy,” he continued.

“I am excited to continue working with our agriculture and rural leaders across the county, and I am proud to stand with President Trump to defend the everyday rural American against Kamla Harris and the radical left,” Herbster concluded.

Trump has long sought to support America’s farmers and other citizens living in rural communities. His first term included over 50 agreements to boost the exports of American agricultural products.

The Trump administration also committed “over $1.3 billion through the Agriculture Department’s ReConnect Program to bring high-speed broadband infrastructure to rural communities,” according to the news release.

Some of the other accomplishments listed on the Rural Americans for Trump website include:

  • President Trump strengthened America’s rural economy by investing over $1.3 billion through the Agriculture Department’s ReConnect Program to bring high-speed broadband infrastructure to rural America.
  • During the Trump Administration, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) invested $871 million to improve critical community facilities to benefit 3.5 million rural residents in 43 states and Guam.
  • President Trump stood up to China like no administration has ever done before—bringing hundreds of billions of dollars pouring into our treasury from China, and when China targeted our farmers, President Trump gave those same farmers $28 billion dollars straight out of the tariffs China was paying.

Rural Americans for Trump are united behind a singular purpose to reelect President Trump and Make America Great Once Again.
