President Donald Trump’s campaign released a dramatic new video on Thursday highlighting the Manhattan district attorney’s political persecution of the nation’s leading presidential candidate for 2024.
The video opens with video footage from the president’s journey into New York in the past week for his arraignment, where he appeared in the Manhattan Criminal Court to face 34 counts of “falsifying” business records.
“The only crime that I have committed is to fearlessly defend our nation from those who seek to destroy it,” Trump’s voice stated in the video, using audio from his Tuesday night speech from Mar-a-Lago. “And now, these radical left lunatics want to interfere with our elections by using law enforcement.”
He continued, “With all of this being said, and with a very dark cloud over our beloved country, I have no doubt nevertheless that we will make America great again.”
As reported by RSBN, the next hearing in the Manhattan case is set for December. The process of discovery will reportedly not begin until defense lawyers agree on how evidence and documents will be handled. Further, Trump’s lawyers are required to file all motions by Aug. 8, via RSBN.
Since Trump’s indictment and subsequent arraignment, support for the 45th president has strongly increased. A new poll from Reuters/IPSOS found that in a 2024 National Republican Primary, Trump garnered 58 percent of support among GOP voters, while Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., had 21 percent. This illustrates a wide 37-point lead for Trump over DeSantis.
President Trump celebrated his political victories on Wednesday, directly following his arraignment in New York, writing facetiously, “As much as I can enjoy a day like Tuesday, where the Radical Left Lunatics, Maniacs, and Perverts had me Indicted and ARRESTED for no reason whatsoever, there was no Crime, it was an unbelievable experience, perhaps the Best Day in History for somebody who had just suffered Unjustifiable Indictment!”
He added, “My Poll Numbers have never been better, almost $10 Million was raised for the Campaign and, the day was capped off with a very important Speech.”
On Thursday, the Trump campaign reported that their donations had hit $12 million in the one week since the indictment news broke.
