President Donald Trump’s campaign responded after Vice President Kamala Harris’ interview on Fox News aired Wednesday, referring to it as a “train wreck.”

The pre-recorded sit down with Fox News host Brett Baier offered the vice president her first non-softball interview that has led to strong reactions.

“Kamala Harris’ interview with Bret Baier was a TRAIN WRECK. Kamala was angry, defensive, and once again abdicated any responsibility for the problems Americans are facing,” Trump Campaign National Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement late Wednesday.

“She couldn’t give a straight answer to a single question because she has no answers. Kamala’s entire campaign is based on lies about President Trump. Kamala can’t handle the pressure of an interview with Fox News—she certainly can’t handle the pressure of being President of the United States,” she added.

A separate statement from the campaign added that calling it a “complete and total disaster” would be the understatement of the year, noting, “Over and over again, Kamala humiliated herself — angry, defensive, incoherent, and unwilling to take any responsibility for the destruction she has unleashed over the past four years.”

When asked about apologizing to the mother of Jocelyn Nungaray, a 12-year-old American viciously murdered by two illegals she let into the country, Harris instead responded with another Trump attack.

“Let’s talk about what is happening right now with an individual who does not want to participate in solutions,” she replied.

Baier also asked a challenging question about President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline, pressing Harris to answer when she first noticed that the president’s health was changing.

“He has the judgment and the experience to do what he has done,” Harris responded.

The most difficult moment for Harris may have been when she was asked about her call to “turn the page” when she has been vice president for the past three and a half years.

“And Donald Trump has been running for office,” Harris replied.

“But you’ve been the person holding the office,” Baier responded.

The interview abruptly ended when Baier noted that four Harris staffers were waiving at him to “wrap” the interview after a short time.
