President Donald Trump holds a commanding lead over presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris, according to the latest swing state forecast.
The Polymarket results were posted on Trump’s Truth Social account on Sunday, highlighting his growing advantage in North Carolina, Georgia, Nevada, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
Trump’s strongest support among swing states is in North Carolina. He holds 69 percent of the vote versus 31 percent for Harris in a two-person matchup.
In Georgia and Nevada, the numbers show Trump leading 61 percent to 39 percent over Harris. The odds put him 22 points ahead in two states won by President Joe Biden in 2020.
In Arizona, another state won by Democrats in 2020, Trump leads 60 percent to 40 percent. The state is also important as GOP Senate candidate Kari Lake seeks to give her party another seat in the effort to flip the Senate.
Trump also leads in Pennsylvania, holding a 52 percent to 48 percent lead. The state is considered essential for whoever wins the presidential election in 2024 and is a major source of controversy following an assassination attempt against Trump during his recent rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania also remains important in the discussion over the Democratic vice presidential candidate. Gov. Josh Shapiro is a top contender in the conversation with Harris as she seeks inroads into Trump’s lead in the state.
Other vice presidential candidates under discussion include Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper, and Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear.
In Wisconsin, Trump leads 52 percent to 48 percent. Wisconsin also sided with Democrats in 2020, showing the impact of Trump’s campaign with just 99 days remaining until election day.
Nationally, Polymarket shows Trump polling at 60 percent, with Harris at 38% and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. at 1 percent.
Harris has recently garnered enough support among Democratic delegates to secure the presidential nomination following President Joe Biden’s announcement that he is dropping from his reelection bid. She has also received endorsements from Biden, former President Barack Obama, former First Lady Michelle Obama, and other Democratic leaders.
Trump secured the official GOP nomination during the Republican National Convention in July. Harris is expected to secure her nomination before or during the Democratic National Convention in August to formally determine the Democratic nominee for the 2024 presidential election.
