Trump confirms he will reach out to victims and their families affected by the assassination attempt

In a heartfelt interview with the New York Post, President Trump opened up about the most heinous act committed against him: the attempted assassination that stunned the entire nation and the world.

Reflecting on the aftermath, President Trump shared his unwavering support for the victim’s families affected by this tragic event.

He spoke about his efforts to reach out to the families by saying to his aides:

“Get the numbers, I want to go to the hospital and call all the families.” 

His unwavering commitment, condolences, and respect for the victims as heroes of the rally shooting are evident in his support for their families. Corey Comperatore, 50, from Sarver, PA, heroically lost his life while shielding his wife and daughter. At the same time, 57-year-old David Dutch of New Kensington, PA, and James Copenhaver of Moon Township, PA, were shot, and they are both in stable condition.

In the interview, President Trump indicated plans to attend Corey Comperatore’s funeral and honor him for his heroic actions. This demonstrates President Trump’s selfless and genuine character in uplifting the victims’ families and the American people.
