After a massive backlash against a minimalist rebranding of the classic country restaurant Cracker Barrel, President Donald Trump congratulated company leaders for returning the logo back to its original design.

Tuesday evening, he celebrated the announcement in a post on Truth Social, stating, “All of your fans very much appreciate it. Good luck into the future. Make lots of money and, most importantly, make your customers happy again!”
This came just after officials in charge of Cracker Barrel thanked guests for their feedback on the rebranding in a post on X, and added, “Our new logo is going away and our ‘Old Timer’ will remain.”

“At Cracker Barrel, it’s always been – and always will be – about serving up delicious food, warm welcomes, and the kind of country hospitality that feels like family,” the post stated. “As a proud American institution, our 70,000 hardworking employees look forward to welcoming you to our table soon.”
The change back to the original logo was prompted after fans of the American restaurant decried the rebrand, and the company’s stocks fell by over 16 percent last week, according to the New York Post.
While the return to Cracker Barrel’s classic logo is being hailed as a victory in the ongoing culture war, conservatives who frequent the home-style restaurant have commented on the need to keep the original interior design as well and scrap any other proposed rebranding changes.
Calls to end all DEI initiatives, like removing pride merchandise and the current CEO, have also continued.
