Trump congratulates Kyle Rittenhouse: ‘If that’s not self-defense, nothing is!’

President Donald Trump has broken silence to state his opinion loud and clear on what he thought about the verdict of the Kyle Rittenhouse court case. “Congratulations to Kyle Rittenhouse for being found INNOCENT of all charges,” said the 45th president in a statement released just hours after the declaration.

Kyle Rittenhouse was just 17 years old when he shot three men, killing two of them, in self-defense during a night of anti-police rioting in Kenosha, Wis. last year. After a lengthy trial filled with fireworks, examinations of evidence, and pressure mounted from liberal media outlets, the now 18-year-old Rittenhouse was acquitted of all charges on Friday.

In what is arguably the most high profile case of the year, the nation watched in one accord as the indisputable evidence proved Rittenhouse innocent. “It’s called being found NOT GUILTY,” said Trump.

The trial lasted almost two weeks as the prosecutors lobbied the jury attempting convince them that Rittenhouse used his AR-15 rifle in bad conduct. However, video evidence proved that Rittenhouse did indeed fire the weapon with legal means to defend himself after being attacked first. “If that’s not self-defense, nothing is,” added Trump. Self-defense was the pinnacle focus of the trial in which many were afraid that the right to protect one’s self would begin to diminish if Rittenhouse was convicted.

In a follow-up email to his supporters, Trump expressed his gratitude on behalf of Kyle Rittenhouse, “GREAT NEWS FOR KYLE RITTENHOUSE, who we knew was innocent all along,” said Trump.

The 45th President who is no stranger to receiving false allegations and slander called the Rittenhouse trial a “Witch Hunt from the radical left.” Slamming the actions of the Democrat Party, Trump said, “They want to PUNISH-law abiding citizens, even a CHILD like Kyle Rittenhouse, for doing nothing more than following the LAW.”

As Kyle Rittenhouse settles back into a normal life free of maximum news coverage, others are hoping that he sues everyone including Joe Biden for calling him a guilty mass shooter. As for now, Americans can celebrate that the justice system protected the rights of Americans enshrined in the constitution.
