President Donald Trump took the opportunity to eviscerate Joe Biden’s failing economic policies during a Save America rally on Friday night in Wilmington, North Carolina. “Did you see the stock market today?” Trump asked the crowd. “It wasn’t good!”
The 45th president fired off a list of everyday items that have risen in cost as “Bidenflation” has sent prices skyrocketing and caused supply chains to snarl across the country.
“Since I left office, the price of electricity is up 19 percent,” Trump said. He also pointed out that gas was up “81 percent,” and even simple items like milk were up by 22 percent.
The crowd loudly booed the prices.
Trump added, “How are your 401Ks doing, folks? They must be beautiful.”
Friday night’s electric rally saw Trump encouraging voters to support Rep. Ted Budd, R-N.C., and Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, R-N.C., and Bo Hines, the Republican nominee for the U.S. House.
“There’s never been a president that’s been through the crap that I’m going through left and right…you feel like a fighter, left and right and then you get up and you knock the hell out of them,” he continued, referring to the relentless political attacks and witch hunts that have been leveled against him in recent months.
Earlier this week, President Trump predicted a catastrophic rise in energy prices after the midterm elections on Fox News with Sean Hannity, pointing out that the recent slight relief from inflation was a political ploy to garner Democrat votes, per RSBN.
