President Donald Trump ripped the idea of domestic vaccine mandates for air travel in RSBN’s upcoming “Year in Review Show.” The interview, which will air at 8:00 p.m. on Dec. 30, provides a rare peek into President Trump’s thoughts on the tyrannical medical mandates being imposed by Joe Biden and his administration.
Trump pointed out that vaccine mandates were “one of the primary reasons that our economy’s doing so horribly, you can’t get job…you can’t get anybody to work.” He added, “The mandates are a big, big problem in our country and has a lot to do with how badly we’re doing economically.”
The 45th president also responded to Joe Biden and Dr. Anthony Fauci who are pushing the idea of mandatory vaccine passports for domestic air travel.
RSBN’s Brian Glenn asked President Trump how he felt about the idea of vaccine passports for airline travel, to which he firmly replied, “The mandates are really very harmful for our country and you see what’s happening with all of the things having to do with business, people are mandated and not able to go work, even if they want to…the mandates are a disaster.”
Trump continued, “[And] there are other problems with them, people have religious problems with it [the vaccine], they have medical problems…you know, they have a lot of different difficulties.”
While acknowledging Americans’ right to maintain their individual liberty and freedom of medical choice, President Trump also said he was very proud of the development of the three Covid vaccines, which were distributed to the American public through his unprecedented vaccine development initiative, Operation Warp Speed.
Trump added, “We also have great therapeutics, but the mandates are horrible.”
Biden’s vaccine mandates, which were introduced in September, intend to force all businesses with over 100 employees to mandate the coronavirus shot using the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for enforcement, in addition to mandating it for healthcare workers.
The federal mandates, which have been echoed on a state level in blue states like New York, have received serious challenges, and will be brought to the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) for oral arguments on Jan. 7.
As countless Americans, from healthcare workers to the brave men and women of our military, are facing job loss and discrimination for exercising their basic freedom of choice, one thing is clear: vaccine mandates are bad for liberty, bad for business, and bad for America.
President Trump certainly seems to agree.
“We saved millions of lives worldwide,” Trump concluded, referring to Operation Warp Speed, but doubled down on his stance that vaccine mandates are wrong, echoing the sentiments of millions on Americans who believe in individual liberty. “We’re very proud of the vaccines,” Trump said, “but the mandates…are bad for people and for our country, and so bad for business.”
