President Donald Trump on Saturday endorsed Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose for reelection in a statement made through his Save America PAC.
“Frank is dedicated to Secure Elections – the most important work he can do – with every legal vote counted, no ballot harvesting, and all votes counted on Election Day,” Trump said.
Trump made the endorsement just hours ahead of his scheduled appearance at a Save America rally in Delaware, Ohio.
“I won Ohio big, twice, and Frank is committed to ‘making it easy to vote and impossible to cheat,” Trump continued in his statement. “I give Frank LaRose my Complete and Total endorsement!”
The 45th president has been announcing endorsements all week, adding to a long list that spans state races across the nation as midterm elections heat up. Ohio is considered a conservative stronghold, and LaRose’s position as secretary of state is a seat that Trump is eager to secure.
“Having been raised on a family farm,” Trump stated, “Frank is a hard worker and, as a teenager, was an Eagle Scout. He served in the United States Army in the 101st Airborne, and ultimately served in the U.S. Special Forces as a Green Beret.” Additionally, LaRose also received the Bronze Star during his career in the military.
LaRose is also committed to “secure elections.” According to Mike Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow and a fearless advocate for election integrity in America, Ohio was a target for election fraud during the 2020 presidential election. Lindell said in a Saturday interview with RSBN’s own Brian Glenn that President Trump won Ohio in 2020 with 500,000 more votes owed him than the official tally.
LaRose’s commitment to “Election Integrity, Government Efficiency, Transparency, and Tax Reform” has earned him an endorsement from President Trump and it will likely be the boost he needs to win reelection.
