Trump flies high in Nevada, touts ‘all-time record’ caucus turnout

President Donald Trump took home the big win in Nevada on Thursday night in the GOP caucus, where he netted nearly 100 percent of the Republican primary voters’ support.

“I just want to thank the people of Nevada… I don’t know if you know, but you broke the all-time record,” he told a room full of excited supporters and the press.

He later added, “I appreciate the tremendous record that you set tonight, you set an all-time record for your state.”

The president noted that there was a “tremendous turnout” and mentioned long lines on Thursday night for the caucuses and the event.

Trump touched on the importance of winning the Silver State, lamenting the failing state of America today but promising to “turn this whole thing around” upon a prospective victory in November 2024.

“We’re going to make America greater than it’s ever been,” Trump said.

He railed against Biden’s feckless leadership, stating, “This country does not HAVE leadership…it’s lost its way. It’s a failing nation.”

At one point, the crowd broke out into chants of “TRUMP, TRUMP, TRUMP!”

The president said, “We have to win this election…if this election isn’t won by us, we’re not going to have a country.”
